Job purpose
Responsible for developing company’s ESG strategy, managing the implementation of ESG in organization and reporting to relevant stakeholders
Responsibilities:
a. Development company’s ESG strategy
- Consult ESG Committee in articulating an ESG strategy that it is directly tied to the business' strategies and goals
- Serve as an internal leader and “go to” expert on emerging trends, framework, industry benchmarks, and issues in corporate ESG
- Create policies, guidelines related to sustainability programs in VPS
- Develop appropriate goals, metrics and process for measuring VPS’s ESG and sustainability performance.
b. Management of ESG implementation
- Work with ESG Committee to embed ESG principles across all teams in VPS
- Work with internal stakeholder and implement cross-functional solutions/ initiatives across all aspects of ESG
- Monitor and report on ESG performance metrics, including environmental impact, social impact & economic impact
- Manage the due diligence on all business unit's Sustainability Policies
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and guidelines related to ESG with a keen interest to learn more.
- Develop and deliver training and educational programs related to ESG for employees and other stakeholders.
c. Communication & Report
- Lead on the communication of VPS’s ESG and sustainability performance and achievements to all internal and external audiences, ensuring the consistency of the overall messaging across the system and throughout corporate communications
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community organisations, NGOs, and government agencies as appropriate
- Prepare annual ESG/Sustainability reports on progress to relevant stakeholders according to internationally recognized reporting standard
